Facilities

Completed in July 2008, the Albany Community Charter School building is located adjacent to Krank Park in Albany’s south end. The 42,000 square foot building includes ample academic and administration program space, a full-sized gymnasium, a state of the art music room, a media center, and a cafeteria. Additionally, the facility is the site for many community events to which our neighbors are invited. The wood-framed building has been designed to complement the topography and architecture of the surrounding neighborhood. The Albany Community Charter School elementary school building sits on 12 acres of land at 65 Krank Street, which was carefully engineered and redesigned to accommodate the construction of the school.

The Albany Community Charter School expanded into a K- 8 program.  The doors of our middle school building opened in August 2012 where we serve our students in grades 6-8.  Our beautiful middle school building consists of approximately 35,000 square feet and is located at 42 S. Dove Street in Albany.  Here the middle school students also have the same benefits of spacious classrooms, a media center, state of the art music room, an airy gymnasium with our signature red and black bleachers, Entering the main doors brings you into a light filled atrium with cases and displays that celebrate our school culture and our scholars’ achievements.
